SACRAMENTO, Calif., August 19, 2025 — Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., headquartered in Yokohama, Japan, and LiCAP Technologies, Inc., a U.S.-based leader in sustainable electrode engineering, have formalized a strategic alliance aimed at accelerating the industrialization of dry cathode electrode processes for all-solid-state battery (ASSB) applications.
This partnership builds on prior joint research and will focus on scaling LiCAP’s proprietary Activated Dry Electrode® technology—a solvent-free, high-efficiency process that offers significant environmental and economic advantages over traditional electrode fabrication methods.
