China has called on the United Kingdom to ensure a fair and non-discriminatory business environment for Chinese companies, as both nations aim to enhance cooperation and strengthen bilateral ties. This request was made during the 11th China-UK Strategic Dialogue in Beijing, where Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi expressed hope that the UK would foster favorable conditions for Chinese enterprises, supporting the ongoing development of relations between the two countries.
Wang highlighted the resumption of exchanges and cooperation across various sectors, following recent high-level interactions between China and the UK. He stressed the necessity of maintaining dialogue, expanding practical cooperation, and advocating for multilateralism in the face of growing global uncertainties. UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper confirmed Britain’s commitment to sustaining stable and constructive relations with China.
